Millions of people have lofty goals with the hopes of getting a promotion, making themselves better through education, training and/or fitness/lifestyle changes.
But why do so many people fail and abandon their goals so early in the process. It’s partly due to willpower, but most people would agree that the missing ingredient is motivation. Why do you struggle to find the best ways to achieve your goals?

In fitness terms, instead of saying I’ll lose 10 dress sizes, focus on smaller goals such as gaining more strength, being able to run at a certain speed and incorporating more exercises into your routine. This goal is something even professional fitness models would struggle with so to expect someone who hasn’t exercised in years to be able to do this is unrealistic and overwhelming.
A more appropriate goal would be to promise to exercise 2-3 times a week or every other day is far more realistic and above all else far more doable.
For women trying to lose weight, stop focusing on large lofty numbers such as losing 50 pounds by March. Instead focus on a more realistic 2 pounds a week and watch your weight decrease in size.
Reward Yourself For Staying On Track
